Introducing Shifts for MachineMax Sensors
The team at MachineMax are continuously improving the product and the capabilities to help our customers meet their goals. Most recently, they’ve been working on implementing the shifts feature.
Shifts is a seamless way to view productivity and operations by shift, as well as by day. Why did we build this? Our customers told us it was just as important to view ‘shiftly’ data, as it was ‘daily’. This new feature gives our customers the freedom to set shift schedules for each site and track productivity and out-of-hours operation, both in the platform and in reports.
Shifts will give sensor users the freedom to set shift schedules for each site and track productivity and out-of-hours operation, both in the platform and in reports. This feature will further enable users to see more refined reporting data around their equipment activity in relation to their sites and organisations’ working hours.
Customers are able to create shifts for each site within your organisation. One or more shifts can be created and each machine within that site will be allocated the same shift schedule. Furthermore, this feature allows users to adjust the start of the working day, which allows users to align their reporting to their definition of a working day e.g. 24 hour operations running from 6am-6am.
This will enable users to; Identify how operators contribute to shift productivity; Identify more or less productive shifts. Learn from the most productive, and update processes to enhance output on the rest and automate and increase the accuracy of billing per shift.
MachineMax is an award-winning off-highway telematics solution that allows clients to track and manage their off-highway vehicle and machinery fleets measuring stats such as: active and idle hours, fuel use, CO2 emissions and location. This not only allows companies to improve efficiency but can also provide useful data towards other aims like emissions reduction targets.
If and if you think shifts could be of use to you and your site, contact the team for a demo today.
If you are a current sensor customer and would like to know how to add this feature to an existing site, please see the induction process here.
